Applies to the Esri ArcGIS Portal Feature Service Writer as well.

Disappointed to realize this shortcoming after having published a file geodatabase with aggregates (multipart polygons) as feature service and not being able to add/update the features.

I echo david's sentiments. Took me a moment to figure out what went wrong when publishing and features were missing.

Hi all,

I’m curious if anyone is still having issue with writing aggregates of the same geometry type.

We should be support homogenous aggregates with the updated ArcGIS Feature Service package.

What this means is:

  • FMEMultiArea should write to a polygon layer,
  • FMEMultiCurve should write to a line layer.
  • FMEMultipoint does map to its own special multipoint layer

is anyone still experiencing issues? If so, please feel free to send me a message and we can look into this further.

Thank you!
