To avoid spaghetti lines I just had to move the rejected port 20 times down to get it at the bottom.

Please add a Move to Top and Move to Bottom option to the menu.

Alternative solutions:

  • Add functionality to select a port and drag it up or down to its desired position.
  • From the context menu open a dialog to set the port order.

Hi @matthieuv ,

I’m curious to know what transformer this is where you had to move the rejected port down past a number of other ports?
I’m a bit surprised and would like to look into this. Generally, the rejected port is the last one in a transformer.

@andreaatsafe  It was a FeatureReader with lots of different Feature Types. I came across this while doing maintenance on the workspace so it was not a new one and it might be that somebody thougt earlier it was good to put this port at the top. I still think it is a good idea to add my idea or the options @geomancer suggested.

@matthieuv - Got it! I just wanted to make sure there wasn’t something by default where the Rejected port was not at the bottom.

And I can understand how tedious moving ports right now is. Thanks for this idea!
