Drag Active Layers/Datasets from Inspector and drop into Workbench

The idea is to be able to view the datasets or features we want to use and drag those we need as writers into the workbench. This would help choose visually the feature types (CAD being the ultimate example.)

I think if the functionality gets implemented then it would be for readers as well as writers.

Hi @Mark2AtSafe

 

My idea was that as long as it gets in as readers we could always right click and copy them as writers ... I am sure the developers would figure out the best way to do it. But writers would be helpful as well.
