An option to define a set order of colours used each time or ability to chose a predefined colour palette. Not sure how colours are chosen but similar to @mhab idea when working on same project I'd like the same colours used each time the Data Inspector opens. Some colours selected by Data Inspector aren't that nice. Of course if the order of features was different on each run then that would be difficult unless there was an option to save a Viewspace settings file ;) .
Useful for when taking screen grabs to show different problems but using similar colours.
