would it be possible to configure a data download service to not zip the result if there is only one file?
In many use cases only one file is created but the user still needs to download and extract the zip file, which for most users is an unnecessary step.
Data downloads without a zip archive could also be used as an asynchronous data streaming service where the client needs to parse the result to display information. Especially for longer lasting processes, this would be nice. Right now I'm often running into timeouts in various infrastructures if a data streaming process takes too long. For example, the default request-timeout for the Azure Application Gateway is 20 seconds.
