Original Title was: Connect to National Geodetic Survey (NGS) CORS stations in the USA to differentially correct GPS data

Connect to National Geodetic Survey (NGS) CORS stations in the USA to differentially correct GPS data. The ability to differentially correct GPS data by connecting to the NGS CORS stations would be a huge time saver in terms of post processing GPS data. Currently, using mapping-grade units one must use proprietary software (i.e. Trimble) to connect to CORS and differentially correct the GPS data. If one could download the raw data (via FME) and also differentially correct (via FME) data from said mapping grade devices (i.e. Trimble GeoXH, Leica Viva's, etc...) mapping and possibly survey grade workflows could be COMPLETELY automated. In the oilfield (seismic surveying), this level of processing would save significant amounts of time and money. Would be worth an additional conversation to elaborate on.
