A temporary workaround (if the data is coming from FME Workbench and not opened directly) is to precede the Inspector transformer with a FeatureColorSetter, set to:
- Color Scheme: Random
- Randomized Based On: Attributes
- Randomize By Attributes: <<your attribute(s) here>>
