It's current difficult to read the magnitude of feature count when reading in a dataset with a high number of features that pass through quickly. For example, when a CSV is being read it, it's not at all easy to read whether it's read in (for example), 100,000 features or 1,000,000 features OR 1,000,000 or 10,000,000 features.

Would it be possible to either:

- add comma or small gaps every three digits

- make every three numbers bold, not bold, etc. or

- for the feature count to temporarily freeze when you hover the mouse over it (my favorite option).

Thanks! Amit

I'd like to see thousands separator in the feature count on Workbench Canvas. Since there are some different number notations in the world, it would be better that the user could choose their preference in the FME Options. e.g. none, comma, period, space, ... etc., or allow setting any character optionally.

Or just use the OS locale setting for thousand separator.

I can remember a time when 40,000 was pretty much the largest # anyone could imagine pumping through. That was the # of DEM points in a typical BC 1:20k map. YUGE amounts of data. Yep, the times have changed....
