With the Civil 3D reader you are able to read Property Sets which is great. However, writing Property Sets is not possible yet. This will be very helpful in order to facilitate CAD users with a DWG in which they can easily enrich features with information with more possibilities than with the AutoCAD Map Object Data.

just some of my thoughts here….  creating property sets  as reusable “Mult-Use” items in the Autodesk style editor should be part of this use case.  Typically we would put Autocad property sets in a .dwt (template) much like an item type library in a .dgnlib.   As an FME Form user I would like to be able to create property sets in a .dwg/.dwt from a geo-database schema which would also include domains that would be added to a property set as a Type List.

Another interesting use case would be to translate .dgn (with item types and Pick Lists Property Types) into .dwg with property sets.
