When you use a Jobsubmitter to start multiple workspaces and those also might use Jobsubmitters, it is nice by using the FMEJobSubmitter that if any child-workspace stops then also the main-workspace fails. It would be nice with this behaviour also in FME Server AUTOMATIONS. So that you could "group" and cancel all other actions when one of them fails. Same behaviour as running FMEServerJobsubmitter

To help me understand better, can you walk me through a workflow?

In the image you provided, if any of the workspaces chained together fail, the FME Server Automation will simply end right there. No workspace downstream would run – as none are connected to the "Failed Port" of the 'Run a workspace' Action.
