In FME Workbench 2024 and earlier, you could type “MSSQL” in the canvas to easy access the different Microsoft SQL readers and writers. But from FME Workbench 2025 this functionality is removed. Probable due to the Format Consolidation that was made in FME 2025.
Could you please bring back MSSQL as alias for the Microsoft SQL readers/writers? With the current change FME has been less user friendly.
