Problem
When creating a Workspace App, administrators cannot expose or configure several advanced job execution settings that are available through the "Run Workspace" interface.
Proposed Enhancement
Allow Workspace Apps to configure or expose:
- Job Queue selection
- Expire Queued After
- Expire Running After
- Additional advanced execution parameters available through Run Workspace
These settings could either:
- Be fixed by the app author, or
- Optionally be user-selectable
Example Use Case
Critical workspaces may need to run in dedicated queues or have specific timeout requirements. Currently users have to run these workspaces through the Flow UI instead of a Workspace App to access those controls.
