So in other words - fit curves to the lines vertices.

Yes, for example, when a line is drawn from GPS points this would be useful - the existing smoothing algorithms in the Generalizer tend to move the path of the line away from the original vertices to varying degrees.

For example smoothing lines drown from raster, specially when shape is similar to rectangle or have right angle
