It would be great if FME can also support writing ArcGIS Pro annotation.

True enough, but I think the OP was getting at the version of the geodatabase written by FME [... OK, my bad. He was talking about AGOL, but a somewhat similar thing is going on with FME and Pro.] ... in which an annotation class is created and popupated. FME doesn't seem to create/write ArcGIS Pro annotation. It only creates 10.0 version annotation. I have a couple of cases where I need to uncheck the Annotation created with new features annotation property; however, I cannot do that in Pro for a 10.0 geodatabase. I have to use ArcGIS Desktop for that, and that won't be an option much longer. To use Pro to uncheck the property, I first have to upgrade the geodatabase in Pro. This is a real problem with the existing workflows.
