QGIS 3.16 added support for this format.

What has happened since 2019?

 

* FlatGeobuf organisation at GitHub (https://github.com/flatgeobuf) as it has gotten significant contributions from others than me

* Domain/webpage at https://flatgeobuf.org/

* GeoTools and GeoServer now support FlatGeobuf both as input and output format

* PostGIS 3.2.0 will have input and output functions for FlatGeobuf

* Still friends with shapefile (mostly)

 

But the format stays the same :D

Would be great if we would see this feature natively  in FME.

Although a PythonCaller could be used to import gdal functionalities, a actual writer would be nice.

Are there any news on this proposal? I notice it is not in the 2022 Beta.
