Every log file would be called Captains.log by default... And if an ip-to-geolocation search reveals you're in a certain pub in Annecy it'll be the CaptainsCaptains.log (bonus points if you're using the RCaller on Talk Like A Pirate Day...)

And special entry's in the log for the UpBeamer and WormHoleCreator transformers.
+5I saw this idea pop up under related ideas to the right. Maybe we can combine the two? Introduce a Now() function, but it only ever returns stardates. We'll also need some new formats for the DateFormatter.

I've passed this on to the group working on improving date support for FME 2017....I'm not not hopeful...
