[Without holding Cntrl key] I would like to see the option of not having to hold the control key to zoom.

As a regular AutoCAD and ArcMap user this functionality would be greatly appreciated.

As someone who regularly works with 400+ transformer workspaces, this feature is essential. Using the ctrl with the mouse wheel is hit and miss. You can never be sure exactly what you are zooming into and half the time you end up somewhere else. Also, my ctrl button is right next to one that triggers a translation. The whole reason for a graphic interface is to see what's going on and not waste time chasing a ";" in your code.

"Right-click and use Zoom to Bookmark" you say? That's fine if you can see it and it has been named. If not, you end up wasting time panning and hunting around. You should be able to direct the zoom to where your mouse pointer is.
