I would love the ability to read the definition of AutoCAD Blocks as a separate feature type, relative to their inset points.
This would allow for the easy creation of relative (or shared) geometries. Formats which support this kind of functionality (for example CityGML) would benefit significantly.
Currently one must reverse the explosion process with scaling and rotation to get a consistent starting block which seems like wasted effort and a lot of things can go wrong.
