It would be awesome to be able to add a new/custom coordinate system to FME from within FME Workbench, rather than having to manually add or modify a document within the file directory. Maybe there could be an "Add New" button within Tools>FME Options>Coordinate Systems, that would allow the user to define a new/custom coordinate system?

@courtney_m

It's not quite within FME, but we now have an interactive web site that allows you to define new coordinate systems, which are then downloaded to your computer. You can even use an existing FME coordinate system or the Esri WKT from a PRJ file to pre-load the coordinate system parameters.

Please give the site a try: fme.ly/coordsys
