If I had a penny for every time I've miss typed "attributemanager" on workbench, well I'd have a lot of pennies, but I think FME should figure out what "attriutemanger" is for me.

Since the find function also works with substrings, try only typing "utem", that works for me and as a bonus it's much quicker to type.

I think adding an open list of aliases is probably more useful and easier to implement, that way you could add attriutemanger as an alias and I could create an alias for the Snipper of LineTrimmer :-)

I use "man" for attributemanager, even easier to type than "utem"

Yeah I never remember what the working aliases are. Fun could be had by incorporating a word graph and a spelling distance function to search it.
If that's your sort of thing, have a look in <FME>\\transformers\\fmesuite.fmx and search for the TRANSFORMER_NAME and ALIASES keywords :-)

I have used that trick, but adding even more obscurity to the transformer names doesn't seem a great approach!
