It would be fantastic to be able to click on elements on the model and get the attributes information about the object.

Do .obj files support attributes? i would very much love these gaming engine viewers support 3D and attributes and am finding fbx and obj vacuous in the conversation stakes.

Any news on this? We have so much metadata to add to e.g. buildings, and would love to click on them in AR as well, both for ourselves and our customers, and get info (GFI) on objects in AR

Hi @kennyo

attribute support is a very popular request. We are considering adding attribute support, however it is not on our roadmap yet which means it will not be added within next three months. We are rethinking .fmear format now to allow attribute support.

While at the moment you can not click on a feature and get its attributes, you can create a model where attributes will be displayed as labels. Please take a look at @dmitribagh video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HFROjA3Dfr8&feature=youtu.be

Please let us know if you would like to get the workspace used to create the model in the video.

Awesome, it would be great to get that kind of workspace, so we can use it as a temporary solution. Are there options to choose labels on or off in FMEAR as well?
