Safe is concentrating a lot to enhance FME user experience, but sometimes I think a poll would be good to get more feedback from the community about the enhancements before they get into the FME releases. By far most of the updates are great, but sometimes a bit cumbersome update gets to a release, before the community has had a chance to tell its opinion. E.g. the composite test UI change in Tester 2019 is not so popular at least among Finnish FME users.

Idea: Safe to create polls for bigger UI changes in Workbench or transformers.

Isn't that what the early beta versions are for, so we test new functionality and tell Safe what we think? :-)

Good point, but how many really not just test early beta versions but also give feedback to Safe? Some of course, but not the most of the community. :-) I think polls would give wider feedback.

Beta versions are ok to test especially what comes to new functionality and old full processes, but I think what Lassi has in mind here is to push for feedback before changing some old tool in a bigger way. Really asking some specific thing is totally different than pushing out full release as beta which is changing almost daily.
