Enabling CityGML readers and writers to support the 3.0 version within FME would be a significant improvement. This is particularly crucial because the level of detail for the existing 2.0 version differs from the ones of version 3.0.

Thanks for asking about CityGML3.0. We already have a CityGML 3.0 Reader. It was added as part of FME 2024.0. We anticipate beginning work on the CityGML 3.0 writer soon and hope to have that available soon in one of the FME 2025 releases.
