Please make it possible to add Database Connections to a Shared Folder. And make the user choose to store new database connections either locally or in the Shared Folder. In this way many people can use the same connection. Ideal for moving from FME Desktop to FME Server

Good suggestion. In FME 2018, we plan to have an option for you to just use your FME Server *as* your connections database. That way everyone in the organization can use the same set of connections (but with the added bonus that FME Server security would govern access to them).

I can see that you can store database connections in FME Server 2018, but I see no way to access those connections from Desktop. Am I missing something, or did this not get included in FME Server 2018, thanks!
