Google Sheets
V3 of Google Sheets was scheduled to shut down today, but has been extended to January 26, 2021. Even with this extension, it is still a good idea to update your workflows to V4. For more information see this article. If you are creating a workspace with 2020.1 or newer, the Google Sheets reader/writer will automatically use V4.

FME Data Express
FME Data Express 1.3.3. is now out! Download it today on the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store. This release allows you to use satellite view for the location picker and has a bunch of UI and bug fixes. If you don’t know what FME Data Express, it allows you to run your FME Server workspaces right from your mobile device. Check out this video of it in action or learn how to get started with this tutorial.
FME AR
FME AR 1.6.0 is now available for iOS on the Apple App Store. Lots up updates and bug fixes. Most notably are:
- Fixed unintentional shifting problems of the model
- Enhanced error handling for failure and denied access of the GPS sensor
- Enhanced label style
- Added animated transition when moving to a viewpoint
The Android version is coming soon.

FME Hub Spotlight
Today in the spotlight is the Google BigQuery package, which is available on FME Hub. This package contains a connector and writer, which allows you to connect and write to Google BigQuery. To start using this package, just type in Google BigQuery on your FME Workbench canvas to start the download, or manually down it from the Hub. We also have a tutorial to get you started!
