Twelve Days of FME 2020
Have you been working through the challenges? Some of them are pretty tough. Today we are on the 4th challenge, you have until tomorrow night to get your art submissions in.
Do you have no idea what I am talking about? Now until January 8th, we are having an FME contest that gives you twelve chances to win a prize! Throughout the month of December, various challenges and puzzles of varying difficulty will be released to the community. Complete the challenge or puzzle within the limited time frame to be entered to win. See the Contest Terms and Conditions for the full schedule or the launch page for links to all the challenges.
FME Hub
In November we had lots of great submissions to the FME Hub, some of the highlights include:
- Augmented Reality Portable Hole Examples: This is a template for created AR files that show underneath surfaces.
- ColorPercentile: A custom transformer that allows you to color features based on a feature percentile.
- GeoApps Web Connection & GeoApps Writer: A web connection and writer that allows you to connect to the GeoApps online mapping platform.
- HeatMap: A custom transformer that generates a heatmap based on input point features.
- SnapToOrientedBoundingBox: A custom transformer that snaps input features to its convex hull’s oriented bounding box.

There is still time to sign up for our last couple of training sessions of 2020. Sign up for free for Integrating Your Data with the FME Platform, which is our beginner course. Then if you are interested in learning how to use FME with Cityworks, sign up today. It is recommended that you have basic working knowledge of FME and Cityworks to attend the course.
