We are using FME (ESRI) version. Am I to understand that with this version I cannot read a KML file????

Converting a KML file to a LYR file seems like such a simple task, and can be done in ArcGIS Pro, but why can I not find a KML reader in FME 2021?

KML is indeed supported in all editions, see the matrix at the bottom here:

Thanks David. I was getting frustrated but I was also looking in all the wrong places. I neglected to see OGC/Google KML as a reader option. To my credit though I searched the FME Reader Gallery for Google KML, KML and KMZ, and even sorted the "Extensions" field and still missed it :-). Time for that 2nd cup of coffee I think.
