Make ArcGIS OAuth Redirect URIs Easier to Discover and Configure in FME Form and particular in Flow

Hi ​@j.botterill , thanks for your post. I have put in a request to add a new subsection to our Working with Feature Services in FME Form article, so that it’s a bit easier to find the information you’ve requested. 

The new subsection will highlight: 

• our External Browser Authentication in FME Form article, where users can find information about the new Redirect Strategy parameter included with OAuth 2.0 web services as of FME Form 2025.2. This article includes descriptions of the Loopback Strategy and the Proxy Strategy as well;
• our how-to articles related to creating and testing Esri ArcGIS Online or Enterprise Portal packaged OAuth 2.0-type web services and follow-on web connections. These two articles include guidance on setting the new Redirect Strategy parameter, and the redirect URI needed on the Esri application item to cover use of the web connection in both FME Form and FME Flow. The how-to articles are:
  • How to Create an ArcGIS Online Web Connection (OAuth 2.0)
  • How to Create an ArcGIS Enterprise Portal Web Connection (OAuth 2.0)

Updating how-to-articles to align with the major release changes, such as new oauth redirect strategy with screen shots from your beta / QA testing would be very benefit to those deploying the new versions and to aid those planning out their upgrades
