I thought that with a Inspector attached in the workspace the FME data Inspector would automatically start when the run is completed, but nothing happends? How can that be?

You probably have the "visual preview" window open and or the checkbox "Inspect with Data Inspector when Visual Preview window closed" unchecked?

Yes, it is closed. Is the visual preview window ment to work in a simular way? Cause I cant manage to see anything there either?

Yes it should be default go to the visual preview. What version and build number of FME are you using (in workbench go to Help > About FME)?
