Hi, we're getting an out of memory issue running a workbench in 2022.2 that runs fine on the same computer in version 2021. Has the way the vertexd creator processes data changed?

I've used vertex creator in FME 2022.2 and it works fine for me. How many points are we taking about? In my case I had around 8 million easting/northing (British National Grid Proj) coordinates which I then converted to vertices before grouping them and creating polyline features.

Just another thought: Have you turned off Feature Caching and checked that the disk drive with the temp directory where your .ffs files go to, while you are running the workspace, has enough space on it. It could be you need to set the temp directory to a larger drive, see here: https://community.safe.com/s/article/fme-temp-environment-variable

@jimsco As @osmanbeg1980 mentions - it's unlikely to be VertexCreator that causes a memory issue. Check what other transformations are being used in the workflow that might group data.
