Getting multiple jobs from the same webhook triggered in a browser

I have a webhook set up to run an fme job submitter job. The developer who wants to trigger it is opening the url in the default browser of the user's machine. The job gets submitted. But every 6 minutes if the browser stays open, another request for the same job with the same parameters shows up in the fme queue. Is there anything I can do about this?

I've not heard of anyone running into this before. What web browser does your developer user? If they try another browser or another client do they see the same problem?

 

If it's happening after exactly 6 minutes every time I wonder if there is some kind of automated refresh set up in the browser?
