Newly installed FME Desktop Oracle Edition 2018.1.0.2 Build 18547 - WIN64 crashing on exit. fmeworkbench.exe remains in Task Manager.

Event Viewer error shows ucrtbase.dll as a faulting module.

FME is installed on Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard SP1. I tried repairing and also reinstalling FME but nothing helps.

Sounds like it might be related to a known issue with Windows updates. Take a look at the following article for more details:

Maybe it is somehow related but we have neither ESRI products installed nor the mentioned Windows Updates KB4056894/KB4056897. The faulting module is also different.

I have just tested latest FME 2017 x64 and it works just fine.
