Hi, I am new to FME. In this ticket I want to share whatever I know. My company purchased 5 FME floating licenses. At the time of purchase, we shared serial number of the machine. And now license file is on that machine. ( I am calling this machine as a server for license).

 

Inside company all FME users are fetching this license with the help of server IP address (server means machine which serial number was shared with a safe source at the time of purchase). Due to COVID-19, all are working from home. Now server machine is at my place. Now others are trying to access my machine for the FME license purpose, but it is not working. Can you please suggest some solution? Note :- we are using VPN for other application purpose.

@shubhu123​  You should probably contact your local FME reseller to resolve this issue. But you can also request Home licenses during the COVID disruption


What type of port range does your VPN tunnel support and check your port fowarding.
