Just checking, the versions of FME Desktop and Server are the same?

Hi @jan. I'm sorry that you're experiencing this crash. Some additional questions to help assess the issue:
- What operating system are you using?
- Have you successfully published a workspace to FME Server in the past?
- Are you experiencing the crash when uploading only particular workspaces and/or services, and have success with others?
- At what stage of the publishing wizard are you experiencing the crash?
- Is FME Workbench crashing and not just the publishing wizard? If you get an fme.exe error, can you send a screenshot of the error details? The "Fault module" might help us narrow down the issue.
- Do you see any errors in the translation log, or in FME Server?

I had the same issue a while ago when I tried publishing an unsaved workspace.
Try saving the workspace before you publish to FME Server.
