I have long believed FME can read any GIS files. But today look like it can't handle a single band rrd (reduced resolution dataset) raster. Any workaround? or I need to go back to ESRI model builder?

Here is the list of raster formats with read or write support https://www.safe.com/fme/formats-matrix/ checking the Raster & Aerial Imagery box. There are a few Erdas formats but not rrd.

My workaround was to use ArcGIS Pro to export the rrd to geotif which can be read by FME.
