I used the 2021 fme workbench emailer. The version from 2021 was functional. It is currently not functioning in the 2022 version. It displays an error message that reads, "No module called Chardet." The 2022 version had to be deleted, and I had to return to the 2021to_safe2 desktop.

What version of the Emailer Package do you have installed? Version 3.0.1 and greater should contain the updates needed to prevent this issue from occurring. We moved away from the chardet module in favor of a newer module which is why this issue is occurring. Try going into Tools > FME Options > FME Packages > Emailer and then click Update if there is an update available. This should resolve the issue.

I can't reproduce this in 2022.2.0.0 (20221103 - Build 22765 - WIN64).

What is the exact version you use?

Did you upgrade an existing emailer or configured one from scratch?
