I can reproject CSAR point clouds but I can not write them to the CSAR point cloud format, only to ASCII XYZ.

A writer functionality for the CSAR point clouds seems to be lacking. Is this really the case and how can this be solved ?

Hi @yasminvb thanks for your question! Unfortunately, there are no current plans to expand into writing to CSAR Point Cloud. I suggest posting an idea here with your use case and hopefully it will gain enough interest to be made a reality in the next versions of FME. I will also leave a note with the developers to let them know that there is interest in creating this writer 😊
