This workspace generates a routable indoor wayfinding network from a raster floor plan. Perception tasks are handled by Google Gemini — decluttering area labels, marking office doors, connecting them with orthogonal corridors, and isolating the network to a clean black-and-white raster. All geometry is deterministic FME: door coordinates and office numbers come in as JSON and become vector nodes, while the isolated raster is vectorized, centerlined, extended with DangleExtender, and snapped into a connected network. The output is an office-node layer and a routable network layer, verified here with a ShortestPathFinder wayfinding test.
Requires a Google Gemini Web Connection. Tuned on rectilinear office floors; diagonal corridors, open-plan, and double-loaded corridors may need adjustment.
