need help using right transformer to filter

I have some data that need to be filter first and then calculate Values count of WO, Average of Age, and % of age.1. I need to filter out work order that are CM, PM, CAP and MM. I have done that using Test Filter,2. I need to then filter our CM's with HOLD status. I have column that is HOLD and has different status. I need to calculate CM's that are not on hold and CM's that are on hold.3. Then I need to Count the work order, Average of age and % of AGE for all work types.I am not sure what transformers i need to use the filter. I need your help.

Write to ESRI geodatabase in FME Server

I am using the Esri Geodatabase (ArcSDE Geodb) writer in FME Desktop 2015 to write to an Oracle Esri geodatabase. However, when I put the workspace into FME Server I get the message: ERROR 0.0 1.7 2016-06-28 12:42:21 Unable to perform licensing related tasks. Please ensure that ArcGIS is correctly installed Is there another geodatabase writer that I can use for this task, or do I need to install ArcMap on the FME Server?Thanks

Maintain Rotation on Points

I have a bit of a convoluted workbench at the moment where I take in an AutoCAD level as a Reader which contains some blocks (stop & yield signs). I pass this through an AreaBuilder which makes it's way to a centerpoint replacer. The output is a Point feature within a Sequel DB. I'm trying to maintain the rotation of the signs so I can associate a bmp symbol to the point and have the proper rotation. (so the stop signs read the correct way).The AreaBuilder appears to be dropping the exposed attributes from the reader, in particular the 'autocad_original_rotation' and 'fme_rotation'? which I essentially want to feed to the Writer using the Rotator transformer...

BulkAttributeRenamer does randomly not work

Hello there!I use BulkAttributeRenamer to add a Prefix to all Attributes of two tables I need to merge as they both have the same attribute name.Often when I load a FME Workbench the BulkAttributeRenamer transformer is broken. It does save all the options, but simply doesn't work. The output features show no prefix and the following FeatureMerger does not work, as the attribute names don't fit. Does somebody know how to fix this problem?

Transfer python dictionnary between 2 Transformers

In a PythonCreator, I create a dictionnary. I'd like to use it in the following Transformer, a PythonCaller as an attribute.So In the Creator, I finish with "return myDict". In the Caller, I call the attribute myDict.But when I run the project, in the log, it tells me that : TypeError: 'NoneType' object is not iterableDo you have any suggestions?Thanks

AttributeKeeper does not keep coordinates

I'm try to establish an SHP-Minecraft translation, but in the 2016 version of FME, I had some trouble with the AttributeKeeper. I have an input SHP (point), connected with a coordinate extractor. After that, I attached an AttributeKeeper. I want to keep some SHP attributes, and the coordinates, extracted by the CoordinateExtractor. For some reason, the Keeper lost the XYZ coordinates. If I took try the same in FME 2015, the keeper will keep the attributes. Is it a version error, or I missed something?The following pictures shows the connection, and the settings. In the keeper, I cannot tick the mother attribute, just the children attributes (XYZ).Thanks for your help.Bálint

Write ESRI FGDB name dynamically

I would like to write the name of an ESRI file geodatabase (FGDB) at runtime based on the current date/time, for example C:\\Temp\\Output_20151207131034.gdb. How best to accomplish this? It's easy to do so with datasets and feature types but not the FGDB itself. Any suggestions would be appreciated.Thanks,Aaron

Capture Translation Log

I want to append some of the output of the Translation log to a text file every time the workspace runs (mainly session duration, whether the translation was successful or not, and any error messages). How can I do this?

Only clipping geometry's with same ID

Hi, I want to clip geometry's, but with the same ID's only. I've got 2 input files (1 is clipper 2 is clippee), both contain geometry's. I want to know how much the clippee is outside of the clipper, but only if it has the same ID as te clipper. Is it possible with the clipper? Maybe the clipper is the wrong transformer? Can anyone help? Maybe @takashi? Clipper geometry's: 3Clippee geometry's: 1204It should be aprox. 400 clippee's a clipper.Kind regards

Converting json into excel table

HelloI am trying to convert a json file into an excel spreadsheet with each json attribute in it's own column. Using output of PDFPageFormatter

I'm using a PDFPageFormatter. From the output, I'm using a writer to create my pdf file.I want to use this pdf file to merge it with another, thanks to my python script. I know I can write my python script in WorkspaceParameters/Advanced/ShutdownPythonScript.But I don't feel it's a clean method.I'd like to directly connect the output of the PDFPageFormatter into a PythonCaller and use the pdf file as an attribute for the PythonCaller.Does anybody have a knowing process to handle that?

Imported XML list attribute with XY to nodes ?

Hi,I'm constructing a workspace to import some XML files, and converting them to proper spatial features for storing in SQL Server. The XML format gives me some headaches, unfortunately.One of the XML files contains named nodes with XY attributes, the other file contains polylines with references to the named nodes. I got the start and end points handled, but the intermediate points are stored as an XML group of node names with zero or more items. The order of these are of course important.When importing the XML these items get converted into a list attribute, but what is the best way to convert this list of names to intermediate nodes in the geometry ?I've twisted and turned my head around this problem, but I can't decide whether the best course of action is to create helper features from the list, or create a list from the XY node features, or something entirely different. And if it's at all possible or feasable to handle fetching the XY via node names in a custom tra

Create common syle for ArcGIS shapefile

Hi,I have tons of styled MapInfo datasets need to transfer to ArcGIS format, and I hope keep these styles automatically in ArcGIS. As there are some styler transformers, such as MapInfoStyler, KMLStyler, is there any way to create common style for ArcGIS shapefile/geodatabase.Looking forwards to hearing any suggestions.@takashi I followed your answers to solve many questions, hope and appreciate you may have solution for this question.

Group points using count rule

Hello, probably this is something easy to achieve but I'm still new to FME. I'm reading a set of points from a DWG file. These are definition points from a dimension feature. Each dimension object has 3 definition points, but there is no dimension ID. All that I have is a set of points listed consecutively; the first 3 points belong to one feature, the next 3 points belong to another feature and so on. I want to group all points using a count or split rule but so far I can't find a way to implement it. Here is an example of what I want to accomplish. Count   fme_feature_type1  Dimension |2  Dimension      |--> Group 1 3 Dimension |4 Dimension | 5 Dimension |--> Group 2 6 Dimension |Thanks

Esri File Geodb ArcObjects writer

I am writing to a feature class in a geodatabase. My workspace is going to run everyday. Most of the feature classes should be overwritten. However, in one particular feature class, it is not overwriting, but appending. What can I do?I am using FME 2016.

Emailer question

I want to send an email at the completion of a workspace. If 300 features pass through to it, will the Emailer try to send 300 emails? If so, how can I just send one email?

Debugging insufficient memory available --error code was 2 offending plugin is 'xlsx'?

I am using an Excel file and an ArcSDE geodatabase to detect the changes using change detector tool. The output is an excel file with the changes. The tool runs fine on the small excel file, but as soon excel file exceeds 50000 records the error appears.

Writing autoCAD files to GDB projection issue

I am trying to convert AutoCad files to FGDB with right p. So this part is ok but the problem is I need to files to write to NZTM so I can merge it with another dataset in NZTM. So far I am having no joy converting it to NZTM. I have tried reproject and coordinatesetter but this does not work.

Problem using direct connect to ESRI Geodatabase from FME Server

On my server machine I can use direct connect in ArcCatalog to connect to a Geodatabase, Using the same parameters (sde:oracle11g:<dbinstance> )in FME Server causes an abort with the message "Could not open the Enterprise Geodatabase. The error number from ArcObjects is: '-2147155644'. The error message from ArcObjects is: {Server library could not be loaded}".  On my local machine where I author my workspaces I can run the workspaces in FME Desktop using direct connect.  ArcGIS version 10.0 FME Server 2012 sp3  Any suggestions why FME Server direct connect won't work?
