How can I make a table of my attributes without geometrie and make a PDF. I found the tableadder, but how does it work right? Do I make lists first?

Finding Parent Child connection between nodes within a network tree

Hi all! I am new to FME. I am trying to find parent child connections within a network tree. For example, there are nodes or objects called "CP". All CP's are connected to "TX"s. I would like to find which CP is connected to which TX. Multiple CP's can be connected to a TX. I would like to export a table like the following: CP TX1 12 13 14 24 2Which suggests 3 CPs are connected to TX 1 and which ones. There is a whole network of lines connecting them. So I have to somehow trace those lines until a CP connects to a TX. Sometimes CP's are connected to TX's via multiple line segmentsI am looking at SpatialFilter, PointOnLineOverlayer or ShortestPathFinder. As I mentioned, I am quite new to FME and having a difficult time getting started. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Guys,i have an aggregated surface and want to convert it in a solid geometry SolidBuilder cant do it and abort it because of an invalid geometryBut i think its not so easy to do it with SolidBuilder alone, but i'm not so familiar with this geometries.Can somebody help me becaus eof that? Problem with write PDF 2D

Hello,I have 4 feature types and i use the transformer PDFPageFormatter to configurate my PDF output.The problem is when write this Output ( attached ) the feature types didnt write exactly like FME DAta Inspector. How can i do this configurated well?The output wrong in PDF:Attached my template file.Thanks

Split ERDAS Imagine rasters into individual pixels with value ?

Hi,I'm a reasonably novice with regard to handling rasters in FME, and has been given the task of converting 100 ERDAS Imagine files into a number of MapInfo tables containing polygons with the original pixel values as an attribute. The pixel value is a height-above-sea-level, and the data represents flooding estimation data.I'm using RasterToPolygonCoercer to generate the "pixel polygons", which works fine, but the pixel value is lost somewhere along the line.I'm discarding "NoData" values, but have "Preserving Attributes" turned on, so where did the pixel values go ??CheersLars I.

Outputting individual Excel row and jpg image to an individual PDF report

Hi All,I have an xls spreadsheet, lots of rows, each row is an individual record with various data in each column.I also have a folder of jpgs, each jpg named to match 1 value in a column.I am looking to produce a single pdf for each xls row and its associated photo.I am still learning my way around FME but I've tried an Excel Reader and Jpeg Reader joined by jpg filename/column attribute, then put into PDFPageformatter then fanned out by joined attribute but for the life of me I can't work out why the xls does not show on the PDF, just blank. Photo will show though.Am I missing a step? Would really appreciate any advice?Many thanks in advance,Amgaad

Why does FME assume Oracle Database Version 10.2.0?

I have Oracle Readers and Writers in my workspace and the translation successfully completes. But in the log I see this message:Oracle database version could not be determined; assuming version of '10.2.0'My Oracle database version is not 10.2.0. Why does FME assume this version?

PointonLineOverlayer Question

What I am trying to do is check the diameter attribute value of a valve point against the diameters of all lines that are touching it. If no diameters of the lines match the valve diameter.. do an action. I'm having issues in getting the correct end result. There could be up to 4 different lines all touching the same valve point. I want to check against all of the diameters of the lines that touch and if none match.I've tried the spatialrelator and didn't get what I'm looking for. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have a XML that i want to take out 2 values, name and title. i have done it here;Now I have these attributes but now i dont know how i do to match layer title and layer name. I would just want 2 attributes one for name and one for titleI have worked on this for a while and Icant get any closer to the result i want.Attach the workspace.

Problem with Batch Deploy after FME_TEMP cleaned

A few days ago we cleaned our FME_TEMP env variable directory as we had ~80GB files sitting there. I am now unable to use the Batch Deploy option and get the following in the log;Starting translation...couldn't open "{E:/Local Processing/FME_Temp/FME_1480515564385_17256}": no such file or directory while executingopen $superBatchFileName "w" invoked from withinset superBatchFile [open $superBatchFileName "w"] (file "C:/Users/william.allen/AppData/Local/Temp/5/fme-batch-deploy-f14892.tcl" line 14)Purging temporary files does not make a difference - nor does creating a blank file/folder.Do I have to change the Temp directory? Any idea how to avoid this - and keep the Temp folder size down?

Merging atttributes

I have a lake dataset which I have aggregated and dissolved which has almost given me the right results. However as you will see from the results I have Lake Okataina and Lake Okataina/Te Moana i kataina a Te Rangitakaroro. Lake Okataina is larger than Lake Okataina/Te Moana ... however once I aggregated and dissolved I get Lake Okataina. How do I merge the LakeName so that I keep the whole name and not just Lake Okataina. I've tried tweaking a few of the dissolver parameters but this doesn't seem to have given me the result I want.Cheers,Sarah

Options to create and SDE (oracle) version

Hi, Which are all options to create a new version on arcsde (oracle12c)? I am running fmeserver FME 2014 SP4 (20141022 - Build 14433 - WIN32) and have managed to create the version with arcpy :), but the client does not want to change the default python interpreter :(. So i am trying to find another method to create a version of an SDE (oracle12c) dataset. I have already tryied slqexecutor but i cannot connect to this oracle12c (just oracle8)! Any clue? Thanks a lot in advance!

How can I copy a feature and its attributes(include geometry) in Python script within PythonCaller? The feature contains a list where the number of items in the list is in the attribute "counter". Text Justification from Oracle Spatial to GDB

I have to migrate text data from Oracle Spatial in to GDB and place a Point at center of Label. I tried doing that by LabelPointReplacer, Coordinate Extractor, Rotator, BoundingBox and CentrePointReplacer Transformers. But the justification of the Text has not come out properly. I mapped the oracle justification values in geodb_v_align and geodb_h_align. BUt justification of text is not being read properly in FME. I have migrated the Annotation in a seperate FeatureClass. The Text is aligned correctly in ArcMAP as per its justification values. But when i read this featureclass in FME to extract its central point, justification again creates a problem. Any solution ??

Feature Type Feature Class Name and associated writer attributes in FME Desktop 2016.1

Hi there,I'm using FME Desktop & Server 2016.1 with Esri ArcDesktop 10.3.1. The workbench is reading oracle spatial data and writing it into Esri File geodatabases.In the Shutdown Python Script, I would like to find all the objects in the workbench to determine which are Feature Types, get there Feature Class/Table name and associated writer's destination path & file name.Once I have this information, I can use Esri's arcpy module (I have already worked out how to import this) to create indexes, etc. on the feature classes.Thanks

Access point cloud in memory

Hi, I would like to know if it is possible to read in a point cloud (e57, las, xyz...), into an fme workbench, then use a "SystemCaller" Transformer, allowing me to do some processing on the point cloud before terminating the workbench?I think this would require me to have access to the point cloud that is read into memory, but I am not sure if it is possible to access this point cloud, or is it?Thanks for any suggestions!~ Orso
