Hi There,

I'm throwing this out there in desperation. I'm trying to find a way to keep a hosted table updated within ArcGIS Online. Unfortunately, I've found that it is not possible to write data to a table service in the same way we can write to a feature service using FME. Has anyone devised a way to write rows to a table that is hosted in ArcGIS Online (or some other service)?

I suspect it will have to be done using JSON and the REST API but being a bit of a novice in this area of the cloud I'm seeking some pointers.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Warren,

I thought I'd chime in with a quick update on this topic. We have recently added support for reading from and writing to existing tables with the ArcGIS Online Feature Service format in FME. The update was done for FME 2016 and is available in the current 2016 beta version. If you want to try that out, you can download it from here: http://www.safe.com/support/support-resources/fme-downloads/beta/
