Hi, I was trying to write in a layer on ArcGIS Online from this same layer. However, I get the error python error: must be char not unicode. Someone could help me. The script worked before. Thank you!

Would you be able to try changing the workspace's Python Compatibility parameter to Python 3.4+ and run the workspace again? You can access this parameter through the Navigator Window in Workbench (Workspace Parameters > Scripting > Python Compatibility).
