I'm not getting the full geometry data after converting from shapefile to tde, as I did before, only getting a single row for each polygon in the input file, not the granular, ordered, list of geometry points.

Hi -- I suspect you've upgraded FME and have noticed this change? The latest Tableau TDE libraries now support geometry as a full citizen, and so when we upgraded FME to them we also took advantage of this new capability.
Are you using an older version of Tableau and would prefer the ordered points method of output instead?
