Is there any good open source (or preferrably free) tool to validate any IFC-file? Thanks! Tried the first few pages of googling but with less luck.

Yes, found that also - thanks. Was hoping NOT to download and try all of them. Was hoping for something similar to JSON and XML-validators (http://jsonlint.com/) - and also feedback from other FME-users regarding IFC.
