hey,
I was converting a LAS point cloud to a geotiff and got the following error
"Surface Model could not find 3 non NAN seed points"
Any ideas whats the problem?

Hmm, I haven't seen that error before and it doesn't look like it is a very common one. Are you able to attach your workspace or include for information about your translation? Are you doing a simple reader > writer translation or is the error coming from a transformer?
