It is possible convert OBJ files (from LiDAR source) to FLT files with texture?

I just select OBJ (input box) and FLT (ouptut box) and then RUN... but no textures...

FME DESKTOP 2018

Help, please: https://we.tl/t-7RksIu0kJZ

Thanks

Hi @paulopires16,

The OBJ file you selected has vertex colors, which FME cannot currently write to FBX. We are working on this capability, and I will notify you as soon as is available.

In the meantime, please use the free utility Meshlab to convert the OBJ from vertex color to face color or texture, then convert the result to FBX with FME.

Hi @paulopires16,

I'm sorry, I got confused in my acronyms :). FME's FLT writer also currently lacks vertex color support, although the capability is supported in the format itself. We are also working on this, and I will notify you when we are finished.

The workaround for FBX should also work for FLT.
