I have a mapinfo tab file called PARKS, that I have done thematic mapping (IndValue) of a

text attribute called CATEGORY, to get point symbols colored by CATEGORY.

CATEGORY has about 10 different values eg bench, lamp.

So that my mapinfo users are working from our corporate database, not flat files,

I wish to get PARKS into a new MSSQL Spatial (v2008) layer/table, complete with the color coding.

I'm hoping that a mapinfo pro v15 user can connect to the MSSQL database and see colored points.

I want to use FME to read from the tab file and write to MSSQL.

I have already imported from tab to MSSQL successfully, and the mapinfo users can view and edit the layer/table in MSSQL - great.

a) I wish to import it via FME2018.1 and store the points' colors, in a new table for the mapinfo pro v15 users.

b) later, I wish store points and their symbol shapes in yet another new MSSQL layer/table, for the mapinfo pro v15 users.

I hope someone can advise, please.
