Hello

I write solids to KML and want to give the borderlines/wireframe of the solid a different color/alpha in order to get better visibility of the solid.

I try KMLStyler with Color 0,0,0 (black) and Opacity 1 and Fill Color set to red and Fill Opacity set to 0.7.

I don't see any effect however. There is no wireframe visible, like I used to get it years ago with the first version of KML writer ...

Any hints what maybe wrong ?

Seems like I need to duplicate the wireframe as independent feature ...

When you say 'solids', do you mean 'polygons'? (I work in the wastewater industry, and 'solids' have a bit of a different meaning here ;-))

I just had a quick try and am able to create a red transparent polygon with a thick black border without problem (see image). And be aware of the setting near the top "Allow Unique Styles Per Feature"

(I am using v2017.0.0)

Sorry, I mean solids. I have no problem with polygons/areas.

Solid in the sense of FME a 3D volume feature.

In my current case an extruded polygon.

Even going from 2D to 3D still works fine for me:
