Question

Is it possible to read the cell fill colour when reading data from an Excel spreadsheet

I have a spreadsheet which I need to load into Oracle on a regular basis.

The user has colour coded some cells and I need to import this fill colour as well as the cells text

I don't see any way to do this but hope to be proven wrong

Hi

I don't think that is currently possible.

A workaround might be to introduce a new column in your Excel-sheet where the cell colour is written out in text. You might be able to get some inspiration here.

No, this isn't currently possible. There is already an enhancement request (PR#47193) so I have added your question to that so you are informed if/when it is implemented.
