Hi @prosufi95,

According this link https://www.safe.com/solutions/for-applications/trimble/ you need a plug-in.

Thanks,

Danilo

So I have spoken with Trimble in regards to this Reader/Writer and they informed me that they no longer support the extension nor do they have any plans on pursuing it any further. Really interested as to why they still continue to market the extension as a product, yet no longer wish to support it... I would be curious if they would allow Safe to take it over.... @daleatsafe

@jasonberneathy  resurrecting this thread.   There are millions of SSFfiles and DDF files and with deprecation of Pathfinder Office, the premier reader / ETL of TerraSync data collection procedures, we desperately need to find a way to convert SSF to geospatial formats and DDF’s to GDB schemas.   As I read your post, you indicate Trimble needs to release code (API?) to FME so they can Translate. Just trying to resurrect this.  This is a real need out there.

@joel Thanks for raising this concern, I think this would be a great candidate for an idea so that our developers can investigate this possibility of supporting SSF files in the future. Unfortunately, since this is an old thread - not a lot of new or existing users will see that you have posted here either.
